Vest to go with rifle?
 

Anyone have recommendaions for a vest to carry mags and other stuff. I've got an M4 type gun.

Been looking around, but not sure what's good. I like this one, but it's expensive:

I found that this one works for me as it fits over the Kevlar and ceramic plates without pinching or constricting. Some of the others are the same but the differences are just cosmetic or are designed for different mags and gear. The local Barney Fifes trip on them though. Anyway, Blackhawk is my "Go To" place for WTSHTF tactical gear.

I've been thinking about looking for something similar myself. One that will fit ak mags and another that will fit 20 round ar10 mags. I wasn't ready for the price on that one even with that warning Scott.

Go with a MOLLE system, its one of the best ways to maximized carrying capacity and weight distribution.

Not sure if they are still running, but i've bought many from OPSGear.com Rothco also has a semi decent line. Both are however very supportive of militirism and para military style police forces if that makes an impact in your willingness to support their companies and where their dollars end up.

I bought (2) of these - they are pretty rugged - very thick canvas. If you are just looking to hold some mags - each of these hold 5 comfortably - can hold (6) AR 10/15 30 round clips. Strap is long enough to fit just about everyone - very thick - well made.

Is there body armor that has magazine and handgun holsters integrated? If there is, I'll bet it's out of my price range...

is your gonna spend money on a vest to carry mags you might aswell get one that has alittle kevlar in it and room for a plate right?
